The Application

This is an application where four unsold show- homes in a remote location required protection for an indefinite period but at an affordable price.

The Solution

We installed an alarm system with a camera based in the communal area of the unit. The alarm was set up in a manner which ensured that if any unauthorised ingress was gained (including through the roof) the alarm would not only detect this, but with a motion activated camera, would beam back images to our monitoring station to eliminate the cost of responding to false alarms. Mains power was available on this particular site which reduced the cost to Antler Homes Even further. Because these homes were located in one unit we were able to gain sufficient wireless connectivity to allow just one alarm unit to secure the whole unit.

Our remote key fobs were supplied to the site manager, the QS, the marketing personnel and one was kept by Mercury Solutions so that legitimate access would available at the push of a button and the turn of a key.

Antler Homes also took the monitoring and response options to make the system a simplistic and effective solution for their requirements.
